To get the very best viewing experience it is recommended that you see
our virtual tours in 3D mode. You should get the latest JAVA Virtual Machine by clicking the red Java button below.
When you get to this Site, Click the 'Download Java' button.
If you see the traffic light below you are already set to preview our
virtual tours in 3D. No action is recommended.
Virtual Tour Icons
Our virtual tour icons are designed to bring the
virtual tour media to the front of your website
giving online shoppers what they are looking for
quicker. Our icons will drive you more web
traffic and will keep online shoppers on your site
longer thus making your site "Sticky".
All of our virtual tour Icons are available in
moving format or static format depending on your
personal preference.
We highly recommend placing an icon link to your
virtual tour gallery directly onto the home page of
your personal website. This will give online
shoppers instant access to all of your properties
with interactive 360 virtual tours.
Virtual Tour Gallery* and Inventory Icons
*A link to your
virtual tour gallery can be found by clicking on the
"View my tour gallery" button in the upper
right-hand corner of any of your online tours.
BlueLaVaMedia can deliver your virtual tour links in
several formats. Our most common formats are
listed below and explained for you and your
webmaster.
When your virtual tour is delivered to you, you will
receive an email with two (2) separate and unique
links to your online virtual tour. In most
cases you will use one or the other and sometimes
both. Please read the following carefully:
LINK # 1- The first
link will look like a snippet of code such as this:
When this entire snippet of code is placed into a
website the end result will display our default
"Take a 360 Virtual Tour" icon from above and will
look like the image below when finished.
When online shoppers click on this icon the
corresponding virtual tour will open in a new window
and the online shopper will not leave your website.
WEBMASTERS: Note that the area
highlighted in YELLOW above is pulling our default
"Tour Icon" but that image location may be replaced
or swapped out with any of the icons located above
depending on icon preference. The icon can also be
removed completely and replaced with a text only
link like so Click
here to take 360 virtual tour.
LINK # 2-
The second link that
you receive is a direct link to your virtual tour
such as this:
http://rtvpix.com/RE-5326-T0PEEA-01
This link will be used on the TAAR MLS site as well as on websites that allow
you to log in and copy and paste a link directly to
your virtual tour.
Is one link better than the other? It really depends
on your website. Link # 1 will call more
attention to your virtual tour and the end results
will be higher traffic, however it can not be used
on all websites out there. Many websites are
pre-programmed to support virtual tours and will
require you to drop in link # 2. Many of these
sites will create their own button when a link is
dropped in.
Whichever link you decide to use we do highly
recommend that your website gives uses what they are
looking for as quickly as possible. Use our
virtual tour gallery icons and virtual tour icons
whenever possible for best results.
Option 3 -
Embedding a Virtual Tour
Sometimes the very best part of having a virtual
tour is dedicating a single page that proudly displays your virtual tour as soon as somebody goes
to that page. For this you will want to try
embedding your virtual tour into your website.
This is a GREAT option for those of you who purchase
our commercial and business virtual tour packages.
Please note that embedding a virtual tour will
require full access to your website and we highly
recommend that you place the virtual tour on a page
of its own. Please feel free to contact us
anytime and we will gladly help you embed your
virtual tour into a page on your website. To
start embedding your virtual tour simply click on
the code below and download our zip file.
Replace the tour type and the tour ID where
applicable and launch your page.
Click the following link to view our virtual tour
embedding instructions -
Webmasters: Please note that the code on the
above page will change according to your virtual
tour ID at the end of the link. Please contact us
for questions.
Option 4 - Host Your Own
(not for the feint of heart -
programming required)
On the rare occasion that you would like to
completely host the virtual tour on your own server,
BlueLaVaMedia can accommodate this request.
Please do keep in mind that there will be features
that you will not have when you decide to go this
route. Hosting your virtual tour onto your own
server will require some programming skills and
BlueLaVaMedia does not offer customer support on
this programming. When hosting your own
virtual tours you will no longer have the ability to
download your tour, receive weekly hit reports,
import your tour into social networking sites, and
email your tour. These features are possible but
will require that your web developer program them in
for you. BlueLaVaMedia charges a one-time fee
of $199.00 for the remote host file as it must be
removed from our servers, zipped up and delivered.
Would you like to make your virtual tour open up on
a specific scene? Creating a link on your site
that opens your tour to your favorite scene is very
simple to do by using a special parameter at the end
of your virtual tour link "?startspin=" Simply
follow the code below on any of your virtual tour
links to use this power feature.
Power Function 2 - Opening a custom
sized tour window
Would you like to make your BlueLaVaMedia virtual
tour open larger or smaller? Now you can by adding a
very small string of commands at the end of your
virtual tour link.
Simply add ?h=500&w=700 at the very end of your virtual
tour url as so:
and your virtual tour will open up 500 pixels HIGH
by 700 pixels WIDE. Take some time and play with
different heights (H) and widths (W) until you find the best
fit for your situation.
